I used to think blogs were self-indulgent navel gazing, but now I'm not so sure. From a practical standpoint, they're great for keeping up with friends, especially when you're awful about keeping in touch (like me). I know most people could probably care less what I think or do in a given week. For everyone else, this blog's for you! Enjoy my collection of hand-picked navel lint!
My brother Marc is the historian in our family. He recently spent a lot of time scanning and archiving photos of our parents and us when we were little tykes. They can all be viewed on his Flickr site. Everybody say "awwwwwww". Thanks Marc!! You da best!

Had a great time in Baltimore, Maryland with my family. My Mom and her husband Don live out there. Marc, Grandma, and aunt Susie's family joined us for dinner. I brought some funky hats out for Susie's three kids (pictured below). On our last day we walked about the Baltimore waterfront and visited their nifty aquarium. While we were tooling about I discovered a new photography technique. You quickly shove a camera in someone's face, startling them and taking a picture at the same time. While cruel, this allows you to capture some interesting and candid facial expressions (such as the one of Marc at the bottom).
